Thai food & fall colors

Been inspired lately by all the fall themed clothing and smells and weather. And it's all mixed in with the day dreams I'm having more and more frequently about visiting Thailand.

solstice

Yoga celebrators in NY

Fremont parade rocks it, Seattle

Solstice bike fest, Ontario

Still enjoying the sunshine on the west coast. Celebrating with a sun dress and a mojito later. Solstice is such a good time to reflect on life's gifts and dance in the sun. I'm so thankful for this beautiful place I live in.

Bought some organizational bags today that I love - I'll post about them later. Also got off of work and cleaned my room to pristine conditions this evening. I now have two and half garbage bags full of clothes I need to thrift, and I still feel like I have too much. Starting a period of simplicity. I'm hoping that will get rid of the feeling of eternal clutter I seem to have developed over the years. Spring and summer cleaning.

Happy summer days.

NorCal

Crescent City, first sight of the ocean

Gorgeous Redwoods

Fort Bragg, craggy windy coastline

Muir Beach Overlook, so beautiful

Stinson Beach, unexpected white sand

Had a lot of fun on my little road trip. Made it to just north of San Francisco - not quite as far as I had hoped, but not bad in two days' time.

If you're going to San Francisco...

I'm taking off tomorrow, to explore the California coastline. I'm stoked for a personal, free-flying road trip. Sometimes I get caught up, waiting for friends to find the time to travel with me, and then I remember, I am my own captain.

Looking forward to losing myself in a new area.

Got some snacks (nuts, carrots, hummus, banana, dried papaya, granola bars) and am packing light. Minimal clothes and toiletries. Packed a bamboo pink dress just in case I feel like dressing up and doing something fancy, but I think my trip will mostly consist of jeans and iPhone photos and lots of beach time.

I've got a vague route, but am letting myself play it mostly by ear. I'm hoping to make it to Santa Cruz and back to Oregon by Thursday, leaving me only 2 1/2 days to explore, but all well! Such is life. Photos to come. xoxo
